fuji film shot on my dads minolta this august in nyc — visiting the memorial for the first time gave me a lot to think about in terms of the level of unity that is required after tragedy to see change and understanding. it really changed my perspective on things to be so up close and uncomfortable with something so tragic and and gruesome. im really proud of these shots and i feel that they capture the hope that remained, the light in the darkness, and the promise to remember.
